XTend Selects Dasient's Anti-Malvertising Solution

Dasient, a provider of anti-malware solutions for websites and ad networks, announced that an advertising network, XTend, has selected its Anti-Malvertising Solution to add an extra layer of protection against malware threats.
In a release dated Sept. 14, the Company said XTend will leverage Dasient's AMS to protect advertisers and publishers from malicious advertising attacks.
XTend's key verticals are gaming, social networks and entertainment.
Recent research from Dasient has shown that 1.3 million malicious ads are viewed per day on the Web.
Dasient scans ads and web pages to identify malvertising attacks and has built an Infection Library of malvertising attacks and malware. Leveraging its behavioral analysis technology, Dasient's AMS monitors ads from third-party ad networks and identifies malicious advertisements coming into a website or network.
