Moss Adams Partner Joins buildOn West Coast Board of Directors; Mobilizes Colleagues to Build School in Nepal

Moss Adams LLP is proud to announce Luc Arsenault, Bay Area partner and practice lead of the Transaction Services (News - Alert) Group, has joined the West Coast board of directors of buildOn, an international education-focused not-for-profit.

"I'm thrilled to introduce my colleagues to buildOn's mission and look forward to engaging our local offices with an organization that makes a real impact in the lives of today's youth," said Arsenault. "We can't wait to roll up our sleeves and take part in working to break the cycle of poverty both locally and globally."

In addition to performing his duties on the board, Arsenault has led the charge in organizing a Moss Adams We buildOn campaign, which will send 15 Bay Area colleagues to rural Nepal in November 2012 to build a school for local villagers. The firm is donating 500 hours of time along with $15,000 to send the team aboad with the goal of addressing a direct need for better education facilities in Nepal.

Moss Adams employs close to 200 people out of three offices in the Bay Area. Colleagues across the firm are in the process of raising an additional $30,000 needed to fund the school construction and trip expenditures.
