MetLife and Healthscope Make It Easier for Expatriates to Access Quality Healthcare in Australia
NEW YORK --(Business Wire)--
MetLife, a leading provider of global employee benefit solutions,
announced today a new agreement with Healthscope, a leading integrated
healthcare company with hospitals, medical centers and pathology clinics
throughout all of Australia's states and territories. Multinational
corporations with expatriate employees in Australia can now access
high-quality healthcare at more than 100 locations across the continent.
The agreement offers MetLife's expatriate benefits customers direct
settlement of their covered healthcare expenses through Healthscope's
comprehensive portfolio of healthcare facilities. Healthscope operates
more than 4,500 inpatient beds in 44 hospitals and 60 medical centers
that serve more than 2.5 million patients annually.
