OneBeacon Professional updates network security and privacy liability policy

Dec 11, 2012 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- OneBeacon Professional Insurance, a member of OneBeacon Insurance Group, has updated its network security and privacy liability policy to provide data breach services from Equifax, Inc., a provider of consumer and commercial information solutions, if a covered breach event occurs.

If a covered breach event occurs, Equifax will provide certain notification, credit monitoring and call center services for OneBeacon insureds, the company said.

David Molitano, vice president of OneBeacon Professional Insurance's Content, Technology and Services Division, said: "I am very pleased to be working with Equifax on this effort. Their knowledge and expertise will provide an exceptional level of service and confidence to our insureds. We recognize that information and data are the lifeblood of today's businesses. However, they are also among the confidential information treasure troves that represent high-value targets for hackers."
