Golden State Collision Repair Centers Presents Four Restored Vehicles to In-Need Families in Sixth Annual Community Benevolence Event
SACRAMENTO, Calif. --(Business Wire)--
Golden
State Collision Repair Centers, a Bodycraft Company, presented four
rehabilitated vehicles to local families in need in Sacramento, CA (News - Alert). The
vehicles were presented during their sixth annual "Community Benevolence
Event" on December 11, 2012, at the Golden State Collision Repair
Center, 7407 Roseville Road, Sacramento, CA.
In an annual holiday-time event, the Golden State Collision Repair
Centers' community benevolence events have benefited twenty-five local
families with restored vehicles over the past six years. This year's
event was held in partnership with Farmers
Insurance Group, Allied/Nationwide
Insurance, Safeco
Insurance, Cottage
Housing, Inc., and St.
John's Shelter for Women and Children.
"Each year, there are numerous vehicles that are written off by either
the owner or the insurance company. Often these older vehicles are
simply in need of mechanical or body work to get them road-ready and
safe to drive. Following the merger between Bodycraft and Golden State
Collision Centers, we are pleased to embrace this tradition of giving
back to our communities," said Bruce Mackie, President of Golden State
Collision Repair Centers. "We are thrilled to continue the gesture of
helping people who have suffered economically and are working toward
bettering their lives. Our hope is that this gift will be a door opened
to hope and a brighter future for the recipients and their families."
Local vendors, including John L. Sullivan Chevrolet, Auto West Honda (News - Alert),
LKQ, Keystone Automotive, Roseville Toyota, AkzoNobel, Les Schwab Tires,
O'Reilly's Auto Parts, Placer Insurance Agency, Robert Nielsen Insurance
Agency, Bertolino Insurance Agency, Enterprise Holdings, Inc., Farmers
Insurance Group, Safeco Insurance, Allied/Nationwide Insurance and
employees of Golden State Collision Centers, donated their time and
services as part of this program.
