CableWholesale to Introduce Cables and Other Consumer and Commercial Products at CES, Booth 20461
LIVERMORE, CA, Jan 02, 2013 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) --
At CES, CableWholesale will introduce a locking RJ45 networking
port, an EasyPull VGA cable, a wall surge protector with USB charging
capabilities, and a super-slim HDMI cable. The company will also
demonstrate its HDBaseT wall plate, and offer free charging for
wireless devices at booth 20461 (Las Vegas Convention Center, January
8-11). All the products come with lifetime warranties and will be
available at competitive prices.
The locking RJ45 networking port has the locking function built into
a keystone, increasing convenience, eliminating bulky adaptors and
enhancing security. The product is appropriate for schools, libraries
and other environments where it is important to restrict access to a
network. The locking RJ45 networking port will cost less than $5.
The new EasyPull VGA cable comes with a pull adapter, making it
easier to install long cables and do work in small conduits. Once the
cable is pulled, the installer simply removes the pulling mechanism
and twists on a connector, which can be terminated in a variety of
cables (VGA, DVI / HDMI, or coaxial) or wall plates. The EasyPull VGA
cable, which is mostly appropriate for commercial buildings, comes in
lengths between 15 to 150 feet. Prices will start at less than $35.
The new wall surge protector has two USB ports and three wall
outlets. This efficient device protects equipment, while increasing
convenience for recharging mobile devices. The surge protector will
cost less than $15.
The ultra-slim HDMI cable, which features a RedMere(R) chipset, is
about 25 percent of the size of a standard HDMI cable and much more
flexible. The light, unidirectional cable is particularly appropriate
for installation in tight spaces, and in areas where appearance is
important. The new HDMI cable comes in lengths of 3 feet up to 15
feet.
HDBase TV Demonstration
CableWholesale will also do a live demonstration of its HDBaseT wall
plate extender set. Uncompressed high-definition signals will be
transmitted from a Blue-ray player through a single 200-ft. Cat5
cable to a TV on the other side of the booth. The high-definition
signals may include HD video, audio, 100BaseT Ethernet, power over
cable, and various control signals.
The HDMI wall plate eliminates the need to send a signal to each
display unit, making it appropriate for environments (such as bars,
gyms and auction houses) that need to stream content over long
distances to different display units.
Wireless Charging Station
As a service for CES attendees, the CableWholesale booth will have
inductive charging stations for Qi-enabled devices, as well as
connections for other devices. Qi, which is quickly becoming a
universal standard, eliminates the need for charging cables.
Lifetime Warranty and Triple Quality Check
All CableWholesale products come with a lifetime warranty, and are
checked three times before shipping to ensure they meet the company's
quality standards.
