TriZetto's New Branding Reflects Business Evolution and Focus on Enabling Greater Collaboration for More Efficient, Effective Healthcare

DENVER --(Business Wire)--

TriZetto Corporation today announced an evolution of its logo and brand to reflect the company's expanded business focus on enabling greater collaboration among payer, provider and consumer constituents that can improve consumer health. This evolution underscores TriZetto's (News - Alert) vision to provide information solutions that simplify healthcare for everyone.

"We're aligning our organization for client success, while expanding our focus to serve payers, providers and consumers - driving collaboration and connectivity to improve the business of healthcare," said Trace Devanny, chairman and CEO of TriZetto. "This is good for U.S. healthcare, for our clients and for every one of us receiving benefits and care. TriZetto's client community has grown to include over 360 health plans and more than 200,000 physicians, touching over 180,000 million insured Americans in all 50 states. TriZetto's vast client community uniquely positions TriZetto solutions to help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our historically fragmented healthcare system."

As a reflection of the significantly broader mission of the company, TriZetto is introducing a new logo. The new logo retains the former logo's triangular shape. However, the component pieces now incorporate three waves of color, representing payers, providers and consumers, thus better reflecting the emerging healthcare landscape. The waves symbolize fluid connectivity and collaboration between these constituents, as enabled by TriZetto's technology-enabled solutions.

"Increasingly, the roles of healthcare organizations are converging as payers, health systems and physicians work together to deliver beter healthcare for consumers," said Dan Spirek, TriZetto's executive vice president and chief strategy and marketing officer. "Population health management, accountable care strategies, value-based initiatives, state and private insurance exchanges and growing consumerism are exciting new mechanisms that are changing the way healthcare works, even as they challenge us to create solutions that support them. Our brand evolution reflects TriZetto's expanding solution portfolio, which enables a collaborative community in which we can come together to transform the way healthcare is managed and care is delivered."

To prepare the company to serve clients in a post-reform world, TriZetto has evolved dramatically over the past two years. This evolution has been guided by the company's Voice of the Client program, which leverages various client engagement mechanisms to help TriZetto better listen to, align with and act upon client needs.

While TriZetto has continued an industry-leading level of investment in its software solutions, the company also has focused on new ways to implement, operate and maintain them in order to drive improved efficiency, improved speed to value and lower total cost of ownership. TriZetto is rapidly advancing its population health management capabilities by delivering fundamentally new solutions for value-based benefit design and provider reimbursement mechanisms. The company is focused on key capabilities to support growth in Medicare, Medicaid and dual-eligible membership, while investing in new analytic and administrative capabilities driven by the expansion of the consumer-retail market through both public and private exchanges.

Roughly two years ago, TriZetto expanded its solution portfolio to include provider-focused technology solutions through the acquisition of Gateway (News - Alert) EDI and other companies that power administrative, analytic and clearinghouse services to physician practices and hospitals. Since these acquisitions, TriZetto has been investing to directly connect its provider and payer solutions to create new, real-time transactions for claims and eligibility that streamline existing administrative processes, while laying the foundation for improved payer-provider collaboration to better serve the healthcare consumer. Lastly, TriZetto continues to advance its technology platform to better connect the company's client community, consisting of more than 360 payer organizations, 200,000 care providers and 180 million consumers, to drive improved efficiency and effectiveness in healthcare.
