A.M. Best Withdraws Ratings of Fireman's Fund Insurance Company of Louisiana Following Its Merger
OLDWICK, N.J. --(Business Wire)--
A.M. Best Co. has withdrawn the financial strength rating of A
(Excellent) and issuer credit rating of "a+" of Fireman's Fund
Insurance Company of Louisiana (FFIC of LA) (Harahan, LA) following
its merger into its affiliate parent company, Fireman's Fund
Insurance Company (FFIC) (Novato, CA (News - Alert)). This transaction closed on
November 30, 2012, at which time all assets and liabilities of FFIC of
LA were merged into FFIC.
