Shares of Hallmark Financial Services Rank the Lowest in Terms of Earnings Yield in the Property & Casualty Insurance Industry (HALL, GBLI, ASI, DGICA, SIGI)

Below are the three companies in the Property & Casualty Insurance industry with the lowest earnings yields. Earnings yield is useful to compare the relative benefit of owning a stock vs. owning other yield assets such as bonds. If the earnings yield is higher, stocks may be considered undervalued.Hallmark Financial Services ranks lowest with a an earnings yield of 0.2%. Following is Global Indemnity with a an earnings yield of 0.7%. American Safety Insurance Hold ranks third lowest with a an earnings yield of 0.9%.
Donegal Group follows with a an earnings yield of 2.5%, and Selective Insurance rounds out the bottom five with a an earnings yield of 2.6%.
