Xactware unveils Xactimate version 28
Feb 25, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Xactware, a member of the Verisk Insurance Solutions group at Verisk Analytics, has unveiled Xactimate version 28, a new way to estimate structural repair costs on mobile, online, and desktop platforms.
When the update is released in spring 2013, Xactimate will be available on iOS and Android devices, web browsers, or desktop and laptop computers. This gives insurance and restoration professionals the flexibility to record claims information, diagram loss sites, compile repair costs, and produce estimate reports on a wide range of computing devices, the company said.
"Xactimate version 28 takes claims estimating to a whole new level," said Ryan Johnson, Xactware's assistant vice president of Xactimate. "Now there's no need to be tied to your office, or even a single computer, when estimating a loss. You can work on claims assignments with the platform that best suits your needs. It's truly the most innovative and flexible way to estimate structural repair costs."
