Mintz Levin Attorney Joseph G. Blute Receives International Law Office and Lexology's 2013 "Client Choice Award" for Product Liability

Joseph G. Blute, a Member of the Litigation Section of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. has received the 2013 "Client Choice Award" for Product Liability - Massachusetts from the International Law Office (ILO) and Lexology. The award was presented at an awards dinner in London on February 27, 2013.

The ILO is a global organization that connects corporate counsel with the world's pre-eminent law firms. ILO has partnere with Lexology to present the 2013 "Client Choice Awards." The winners were nominated by senior corporate counsel from around the world and selected based on more than 2,000 individual client assessments. The honorees were recognized for their exceptional level of client care and quality of service. According to ILO, these attorneys have demonstrated their "ability to add real value to a client's business above and beyond the other players in the market."

Mr. Blute specializes in complex products liability litigation, commercial and business litigation, and insurance coverage matters. He is a trial lawyer with over 30 years' experience defending product manufacturers in product liability cases, with a particular emphasis on the defense of claims involving pharmaceuticals and medical products.

Mr. Blute is a member of the Fellows of both the American and Massachusetts Bar Foundations, has been named a Massachusetts Super Lawyer annually since 2004, and is included in The Best Lawyers in America 2012 and 2013 for his expertise in products liability litigation.

Mr. Blute, who resides in Natick, MA, received his B.A. from Boston College and his J.D. from George Washington University School of Law, where he was an editor of the law review.
