Willamette Dental Group Appoints Kristen Simmons as COO

Kristen Simmons, MHA, BSDH, RDH was recently promoted to Chief Operating Officer of Willamette Dental Group.
According to a release, in this new role, Simmons will oversee all operations for the family of companies that make up Willamette Dental Group, which provides a combination of dental care services, dental insurance, and business management and administrative services in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.
Prior to this promotion, Simmons led Clinical Strategy & Development for the company, most recently as Vice President of Strategy & Professional Development. She has been involved in clinical leadership for the company since 1994. With this leadership experience, Simmons will ensure a corporate focus on achieving Willamette Dental Group's mission to deliver proactive patient care through a partnership with our patients to stop the disease-repair cycle by mean of evidence-based methods of prevention and treatment.
As a registered dental hygienist, Simmons brings a clinical background to the Operations of Willamette Dental Group.
The vision of Willamette Dental Group to be the dental provider of choice is what led Dr. Eugene Skourtes, President & CEO, and the company's executive team to choose a clinician to drive the company's Operations strategy and implementation.
"Willamette Dental Group is a dental practice first and foremost. We are a dental practice with insurance, marketing and administrative groups included. With this in mind, it is my vision that Willamette Dental Group will be the employer and provider of choice," said Eugene Skourtes, DMD, President, CEO.
Simmons will lead Willamette Dental Group's operations from the corporate offices in Hillsboro, Oregon.
