ACE names Robert Courtemanche and Mary Boyd to key roles in ACE Private Risk Services division

The ACE Group of insurance and reinsurance companies, headed by ACE Limited (NYSE:ACE), on Friday named Robert Courtemanche as chairman and Mary Boyd as division president of ACE Private Risk Services, the company's high-net-worth personal insurance business.
Courtemanche joined ACE in 2008 as division president of ACE Private Risk Services and Boyd joined in 2010 as senior vice president and chief administrative officer of the same division, taking over as chief operating officer in January 2012.
As chairman, Courtemanche will mainly concentrate on long-term strategic issues and external relationships for the division. Boyd, as president, will manage the daily running of its operations, including developing and executing near and long-term strategic plans.
With over three decades of personal lines insurance industry experience, Courtemanche earlier served as president of the Fireman's Fund's Personal Insurance business, as SVP of AIG's Private Client Group and in several key management roles at Chubb & Son Inc.
Boyd has almost two decades of experience in the insurance industry and before ACE was SVP and managing director at Insurance Company of the West / Explorer Insurance Company. She also held various roles at Chubb & Son Inc, including VP of Predictive Analytics as well as actuarial and programme management roles before that.
