Trans World Assurance announced the launch of its new online customer service initiative. This is expected to serve its military members by allowing them access to information in addition to communicating effectively with Trans World Assurance offices across the globe.
According to Trans World Assurance sources, this initiative was launched to serve the needs of military personnel. The company strives to give outstanding service and support to military members.
A company spokesman said in a release, “We want to give members convenient online access to Trans World Assurance as they travel abroad.”
“With thousands of members of the military and their families as customers, our mission is to give them the tools and control to manage their important information anytime, anywhere,” he added.
The customer service initiative will include ways to optimize the Trans World Assurance website making it suitable for mobile and touch screen devices. This will benefit military members with no access to computers and the Internet as they will not be able to access the company website.
Trans World will be also publishing a new monthly email newsletter and a Trans World Assurance Blog. These efforts will enable Trans World to offer its members new ways of communicating, as well as providing them with the right information on related and varied topics, said officials.
As policy holders have online account access, they can log into their accounts via the website. Policy holders will now get all information about life insurance policies, can change contact information, download forms, and benefit from other resources.
Trans World Assurance was founded by a decorated Marine aviator and now serves the needs of Americans by providing safe insurance policies and solutions. Trans World Assurance is also a founding member of Serviceman’s Group Life Insurance (SGLI) and is also an underwriter of the SGLI.
Recently, Trans World said in a release on TMCnet that it did not agree with the new Military Insurance Sales Regulation adopted by various state insurance departments, including California. This regulation limits the types of policies that may be sold to members of the military. However, the same limitations do not apply to civilians.
