FINEOS to Sponsor Sessions on Transformational Claims Initiatives at IASA and ACE

FINEOS Corporation, a market leading provider of claims software solutions for insurance, has announced to sponsor two sessions revolving around the theme of Transformational Claims at upcoming industry events. The theme focuses on the benefits that can be achieved by the insurance organizations through modern claims technology and predictive analytics.

At 2011 IASA Conference scheduled in Nashville, TN, FINEOS will sponsor the first session that is entitled Transformational Claims Initiatives: Optimizing Claims Processing Results. The session will be held on June 6 at 3:30pm CDT (News - Alert). The discussion will be chaired by FINEOS and will include presentations from Manitoba Public Insurance, Royal Ahold and representatives from industry leading organizations involved in claims and risk management solutions.

The other session being sponsored by FINEOS is the closing session at this year’s ACE Claims Event in New Orleans, LA. In the session, Karen Furtado of advisory firm Strategy Meets Action (SMA (News - Alert)) will present and explore the ways in which claims professionals are using technology to improve operational performance and provide world class customer service to claimants. The main findings of the SMA claims research can also be heard in a web seminar, Claims Transformation – Positioning for the Future, hosted by Property & Casualty 360 and sponsored by FINEOS and SAS (News - Alert) on June 23 at 12:00 EST.

FINEOS has developed Claims for Property & Casualty solution that serves all major lines of business and leverages FINEOS’ industry experience internationally to create a solution that is uniquely geared toward addressing claims issues faced by US P&C insurers. The solution integrates with complementary claims services to offer a comprehensive solution that can help insurers achieve the benefits reported by current FINEOS customers in areas such as productivity and efficiency, customer service, and claims payment accuracy.

FINEOS was in news recently when it announced that it has significantly enhanced its FINEOS Claims for Workers' Compensation solution. The new version, launched at the annual RIMS 2011 Annual Conference & Exhibition in Vancouver, Canada, has been improved with additional capabilities and functionality around Medicare and FROI/SROI reporting; real-time operational and financial reports and medical bill review.
