W. R. Berkley Corporation Forms Berkley Technology Underwriters, Announces Executive Appointment

W. R. Berkley Corporation has announced the formation of Berkley Technology Underwriters, LLC, offering coverages to the technology marketplace, including property, casualty and professional liability on both an admitted and non-admitted basis. Berkley Technology Underwriters will write business on behalf of W. R. Berkley Corporation member insurance companies rated A+ (Superior) by A.M. Best Company.
In addition, Matthew A. Mueller, with more than 30 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry, has been named president of Berkley Technology Underwriters.
“We are excited to have Matt join us. He is an accomplished leader with great experience in this specialized area,” said William R. Berkley, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of W. R. Berkley Corporation, in a release. “Berkley Technology Underwriters joins our other specialty underwriting managers in offering tailored coverages designed to meet the unique needs of its customers.”
