Insurance Solutions Provider Wildnet Chooses MSP Adapt for Data Center Needs

London-based Wildnet has been steadily working to become a global supplier of e-business solutions geared toward the insurance market. The company's consulting practice offers a range of solutions for insurers, brokers and MGAs. Wildnet was looking for a reliable partner to manage its core technology infrastructure so it could focus on its main business of providing professional insurance solutions.

The company announced it has chosen MSP Adapt Services as a strategic technology partner for the deployment and management of its technology infrastructure. The enterprise Virtual Data Centre (eVDC) solution from Adapt covers Wildnet's internal systems as well as the provisioning of virtualized real estate.

The partnership enables Wildnet to deliver its Wild Commercial e-business solution seamlessly to the specialty insurance market. The Managed Service Agreement with Adapt enables Wildnet to capitalize on Adapt's infrastructure investments, including market-leading data center sites and support personnel. This ensures the Wild Commercial application is reliably available to the company's customer base, and also frees up Wildnet to focus on its core offerings without spending time and resources on infrastructure.

The Wildnet solution offers front office administration and e-business functionality that is architected to specifically support multiple insurance products while reducing costs and improving customer service for users. The solution incorporates technologies from a number of partners including Microsoft (News - Alert), K2, Macroview and Web Connectivity.

Adapt's integrated offering covers the entire IT infrastructure from network connectivity and data center services to shared services, virtual server provisioning, virtual desktop services and software as a service (SaaS (News - Alert)). In addition to managed IT services, Adapt offers business continuity, database management and disaster recovery services.

Additional offerings include managed backup and restore services, messaging and collaboration, server, storage and systems management services, managed service delivery and the Adapt Management Portal (aMP).
