Members of the Renaissance Alliance, a network of independent insurance agents across New England, will now benefit from EZPayIns, the first agent-based workers' compensation PAYGO product. An official announcement in this regard was made by Bruce Cochrane, President and CEO of Renaissance Alliance.
EZPayIns will now serve independent agents, insurers, and the commercial business community across New England. The development of the feature-rich technology platform is a collaborative effort between Renaissance Alliance and InsureLinx. The program was beta tested with a few select agents and insurers last November.
In a release, Bruce Cochrane, President and CEO of Renaissance Alliance, said, "This is a revolution in PAYGO workers' compensation, with choice as the fundamental differential.” He explains that other programs offer the insurance buyer no or limited options of insurers and payroll reporting methods. EZPayIns provides multi-carrier access and is "payroll neutral" in its ability to accept payroll data manually through secure online reporting, via hard copy uploading or through automated integration from dozens of nationwide payroll services. Employers can get the "right coverage for their business at the best price" without limiting or sacrificing their PAYGO options.”
In the announcement, Cochrane stated that EZPayIns has been launched with seven participating insurers but they are expecting other members to join the program soon. Insurers that joined the program include AmTrust, Chartis, Savers Property & Casualty Insurance Co., NGM Insurance, Star Insurance Company, Peerless Insurance, and Travelers.
Cochrane said, “Renaissance Alliance member agents remain at the hub of the program, providing employers trusted, localized service. It's been a buyer's market for a number of years now. With prices hardening, it is essential that employers have maximum choice and the market expertise that independent agents provide.”
