In collaboration, eBaoTech and ChinaSoft will provide clients in China, Macau and Hong Kong a previously unprecedented level of quality in terms of insurance software implementation, integration and maintenance.
Chinasoft International's VP, Jacky Liu, considers the companies' merger a "natural extension." Liu's company opened doors in 2000. They provide superior consulting, IT, and outsourcing solutions for companies in government, finance, telecommunications and a list of others. In total, they do business with over 100 international firms. They employ over 15,000 people in a total of 25 cities, worldwide.
According to their 2011 numbers, the company is exploding. They reported 40 percemt growth for the year, and a 42 percent gross profit. Regarding future ventures, Chinasoft announced that it will also do work with Huawei (News - Alert) in order to expand their labor outsourcing operation, and intend to become one of the industry's premier powers.
Woody Mo, eBaoTech CEO, appreciates Chinasoft's solid reputation as an IT service, and their talent for meeting customer needs regarding both business and tech-related issues. Ebaotech's life insurance programs, GroupLife and SalesPlatform, make it easier for insurers to manage the necessary data on their clients in addition to making company interactions with customers more efficient. Insurers can purchase both of these packages either as stand-alone, or they receive service on pay-per-use basis with a Software as a Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) agreement. Though the system caters primarily to life-insurance applications, it works equally well with any type of insurance.
SalesPlatform allows users to do all of the necessary work for both insurance underwriting and ratings without any external programs. The software is equally useful for standard, agent-broker projects as well as larger business-to-business operations. It is equally flexible with virtually any language, currency, and can move between them with fluidly. Their software solutions grant users configurability, scalability and the necessary flexibility that the current insurance industry requires, and they do so in 20 different countries.
