AgencyPortal from Agencyport Software is an advanced, Web-based platform that lets P&C insurance carriers of all sizes to execute important business transactions rapidly and easily with their agents, brokers, MGAs or policy holders. AgencyPortal is an independent portal, and consists of all the components necessary to extend the workflow of a carrier's policy processing environment.
Agencyport Software recently unveiled AgencyPortal 4.5. According to the company, the new version provides usability features such as account management capabilities, predictive analytics and user history tracking.
The Account Management feature provided in the new version facilitates agent portals for all lines of business. AgencyPortal Account Management lets agents rapidly decide account eligibility for various lines of business, based on the carrier appetite for the risk.
Reducing keystrokes and encouraging agents to quote multiple policies at a discounted premium, as well as common information on the agents’ accounts, is used to pre-fill the quote data, the company stated in a press release.
“Agents request account-centric reporting and we’ve seen carriers customize some account management features over our 50+ AgencyPortal projects. It tends to lead to better up-selling by agents so we’re happy to extend our lead in agent portal features by offering account management off-the-shelf,” said Mason Power, Head of Product Strategy and Marketing at Agencyport. “4.5 also drives a better user experience for agents and consumers and helps carriers use the AgencyPortal Toolkit to build and maintain portals more quickly, saving them time and money.”
AgencyPortal recently won a 2012 RAVE Award in the Agency Management Systems Connectivity category, and an honorable mention in the Agent Portal category in the ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum in Orlando, Florida.
The awards were presented by insurance technology trade publisher Tech Decisions for Insurance and insurance technology analyst firm Novarica, identifying solution providers whose technology offers excellent value to their customers.
