QlikTeck Enlisted as Elite Partner

Today QlikTech, a provider of business discovery user-driven Business Intelligence (BI), announced that one of the largest insurance companies in Russia, AlfaStrakhovanie Group, has expanded its use of the QlikView Business Discovery platform and will standardize the platform for all BI users worldwide.

For AlfaStrakhovanie Group, having the capability to analyze data in real-time is crucial for successful development, as well as widening the competition gap in the insurance market. In order to provide insurance agents with a self-service BI solution and boost the efficiency of analytical processes, ATK (News - Alert) Consulting Group has been enlisted as an Elite Partner of QlikTech by AlfaStrakhovanie Group for the implementation of more than 1,000 QlikView licenses.

AlfaStrakhovanie Group has been using ATK QlikView for Insurance since 2009. The need to decrease the time and resources allocated to the collection and creation of analytical data motivated the decision to implement an innovative BI system. The system will provide individual divisions with real-time information, thereby supporting the company's dynamic growth.

Initially, the main users of QlikView were in the operational department; however as confidence in the information provided by QlikView grew, new employees, including heads of branches and regional centers, began using it.  AlfaStrakhovanie Group's QlikView user base today spans the entire organization.

"When we began using QlikView, we realized that its capabilities not only fulfil the basic functions to build reports, but also provide the flexibility to perform a wide range of new tasks," said Andrey Pedorenko, CIO at AlfaStrakhovanie Group.

Pedorenko added that the scope of QlikView deployment has expanded to a number of areas from the insurance business and the financial unit to the control of data quality. With a decision to significantly increase the number of QlikView users this year it has decided to offer it to its sales representatives to analyze and evaluate their own work.
