Sentry Insight to Provide a Tool to Manage, Track and Analyze Claims

October 15, 2012

Risk Managers and insurance professions in the corporate world always weigh the risk their clients and organization face by using the latest technology and internal and external sources. The tools necessary to make these decisions have to be available everyday of the year without fail. In order to take advantage of changing environments, risks have to be assessed and claims information and insight must be available to businesses to meet their goals in an increasingly complicated environment. Sentry Insight from Sentry Insurance gives users a smart and easier solution to keep track of claims and data loss.

The speed in which information is available to a claims department can result in small or very large financial losses. The ability to retrieve the information as soon as it is requested will save customers time and money, giving brokers the data they need to improve and support customers. The platform provides claims information, tasks and reports in an online system that can be easily accessed without additional costs to existing customers.

When critical information becomes available, risk managers can be notified immediately with their preferred method of notification.

"Sentry Insight delivers on the Sentry Insurance promise of Strength, Protection and Vigilance, by giving our customers and their insurance brokers access to information that will help them better manage their businesses and help us continue to deliver exceptional claims services," said Dan Revai, VP of Sentry Insurance National Accounts.

Sentry Insight was developed by Sentry’s Digital Interactive Team, after the experiences of risk management professionals and brokers were consulted with the in and outs of the challenges the industry faces. More than anything it was designed to simplify the everyday tasks of managing risk by making it flexible for different industries. Key features of the product include:

  • Comprehensive overview with complete claim detail information at anytime
  • Research tool by claimant, claim type, date and multiple variables
  • Claim Detail view with predefined claim views and tools to create custom view, giving you the information you need
  • Metrics at a glance
  • Dynamic dashboard with drill down capabilities
