Zurich Insurance Group Employs Pegasystems Software

Zurich Insurance Group recently chose Pegasystems (News - Alert), Inc. for modernizing its commercial underwriting process. The software from Pegasystems will assist Zurich in using an improved underwriting process while serving customers in a minimum of 170 countries.
Both the broker and agent channels are covered by the commercial underwriting process, which covers numerous products and comprises of fresh business and renewal businesses. The organization aims to enhance the experience for its customers by revamping the commercial underwriting process.
In a statement, Sepp Ruchti, Project Leader for Business Transformation at Zurich Insurance Group said, "We aim to reduce the complexity of the work environment for our employees, which will result in us being able to better serve our customers. Automation of this kind will help us to become more efficient. Zurich is developing the BPM solution in co-creation sessions thanks to how Pega is designed. This approach results in a solution not only developed together with our users but also based on their specific needs.”
“It has led to a very strong buy in for the solution and has also meant that we have the benefit of real-time change management," Ruchti added.
According to Alan Trefler (News - Alert), founder and CEO at Pegasystems, Zurich Insurance Group aims to enhance service quality. Pegasystems also aims to assist its customers in accomplishing service quality with all deployments.

Pegasystems aims to start the project for Zurich Insurance at the end of 2012. The rollout of the project will commence in 2013.
