The feature set included in TTM Type B family are designed to fulfill requirements that are specific insurance industry application, including distance travelled, minutes of use, trip start and end time and geo-zones where vehicle was driven – all in a continuous data collection stream. The PayGo device requires no external wires and can be easily affixed to the inside of the car’s windshield like a traditional toll-pass module.
The GE865-QUAD is the ideal solution for embedded cellular applications where small size and energy efficiency are crucial. GE865-QUAD’s 22mm x 22mm x 3mm dimension is significantly smaller than most cellular modules available in the market. It comes up with an optimized power consumption profile having very low standby current compared to the majority of competing products. Because of its extremely compact dimensions and a impressive set of features, including an on-board Python interpreter, it is well-targeted for vertical application areas such as telemetry, mobile asset tracking telematics and telemedicine.
Dominikus Hierl, chief marketing officer at Telit Wireless Solutions, said in a statement, “PayGo has leveraged the extensive experience of its founders with consumer products and designed a superb feature-packed solution based on our battle-tested GE865-QUAD module.”
