The Spanish insurance giant MAPFRE entered the U.S. market through its acquisition of Massachusetts-based Commerce Insurance Group six years back. In an effort to offer excellent customer service to its auto insurance customers in Massachusetts, MAPFRE Commerce Insurance has launched a new mobile app for iPhone and Android devices. Titled GO MAPFRE, the application is currently available in Apple (News - Alert) app stores.
Just like any other businesses, the auto insurance industry has become intensely competitive in the recent years. In this situation, superior customer experience is what can provide a company ample competitive edge over its business rivals. With the phenomenal rise in the use of smartphones, an increasing number of insurance companies are turning to Smartphone apps to deliver superior customer experience to their customers, especially at the times of emergencies, such as an accident or breakdown.
MAPFRE’s new iPhone (News - Alert) app is exclusively designed for the on-the-go customers. The app will make it easier for the MAPFRE Commerce Insurance customers to get information at their convenience. From showing the instant proof of their insurance policy to uploading accident details, the Go MAPFRE app makes it possible for the customers to gain access to all relevant insurance information and do what’s necessary via their mobile devices in times of emergencies.
In addition of enabling the customers to upload accident photos, the app also allows them to upload the accounts of police officers and witnesses, as well as the other driver’s information.
The app also enables the customers to file a claim and view the status of a claim, update account information and even pay bills online.
In short, GO MAPFRE does everything to enable MAPFRE Commerce Insurance to stay connected to their valued customers and offer them superior customer care anytime, anywhere, using the mobile technology.
“GO MAPFRE offers customers on the go an alternative and easy way to connect with MAPFRE | Commerce Insurance at their convenience,” said Patrick McDonald, Senior Vice President of Marketing at MAPFRE Commerce Insurance.
