On Tuesday, Cover-All announced that Antilles Insurance would start using its Cover-All Policy software suite for insurance businesses. Antilles expects the change will make it more efficient in delivering its service to customers.
Morristown, N.J.-based Cover-All Technologies, Inc. provides Web-based software solutions for the insurance industry, such as BlueWave Claims, which Cover-All acquired in 2012 when it bought out BlueWave Technology. BlueWave Claims helps insurance providers tighten up claims management by reducing money lost due to claims leakage and more accurately acquiring loss data. Another solution, Cover-All Business Intelligence, collects in-depth data about a business’ performance for detailed analysis.
San Juan, Puerto Rico-based Antilles Insurance was founded in 1968 and is a subsidiary of Anglo Puerto Rican Insurance Corporation.
The application that Antilles will start using is Cover-All Policy, a solution that makes insurance companies more efficient as it relates to policy lifecycle management. Specifically, Antilles will use the commercial auto, commercial property, general liability, crime, employment practices liability and inland marine.
One of Cover-All Policy’s biggest benefits is how it allows frequent changes. It also has underwriting tools and provides complete policy management. It supports policies for all 50 states including auto, property, general liability, crime, business ownership and workers’ compensation.
Another one of Cover-All’s customers, Laramie, Wyo.-based Mountain West Farm Bureau Mutual benefitted greatly from Cover-All offering an ISO-compliant solution in Cover-All Policy. Mountain West was using a legacy system that was time consuming to use when it came to making changes in products it offered or ISO changes. It was taking Mountain West 12 months to get new products to market after changes were made because of tedious coding that had to be done.
Cover-All also recently worked with AIX Group to solve similar problems. After working with AIX Group, Cover-All was able to help them deliver extensive customizations in 42 days.
Anyone who has purchased insurance knows about the extensive paperwork that comes with it. An insurance company’s product is pretty much its policy and the service it provides when claims are made. With the world moving at a faster pace, thanks to mobile and other technology advances and the fact that a legislative body can affect insurance law with the stroke of a pen, insurance companies will have no choice but to use solutions like Cover-All’s or lose to more nimble competitors and go out of business.
