Philadelphia Insurance Companies Wins Gold Stevie Award

Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY) recently won a Gold Stevie Award for Customer Service Contact Center of the Year. The officials from PHLY said that this was the second Gold Stevie Award in a row and the fourth Stevie Award since 2012.

PHLY designs, markets, and underwrites commercial property/casualty and professional liability insurance products, all while incorporating value added coverages and services for select industries. In operation since 1962, PHLY, whose commercial lines insurance subsidiaries are rated “A++” (Superior) by A.M. Best Company and “A+” for counterparty credit and financial strength by Standard & Poor’s, has 48 offices strategically located across the United States to provide superior service.

“Customer service is a true differentiator in the insurance industry. We value providing exceptional service both inside our company and externally to our customers,” said Seth Hall, vice president of customer service at Philadelphia Insurance Companies.

Recently, Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY) was recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Insurance for the fourth consecutive year. Business Insurance Magazine and Best Companies Group recently unveiled its 2013 list of the top companies to work for in the industry. This was the third award PHLY has won in 2013, following its recognition as one of the Top 150 Workplaces in the U.S. and one of the Top Workplaces in Philadelphia.

Best Places to Work in Insurance is a designation that identifies and honors the best employers in the industry. The program evaluation consists of a nomination and employee survey. The nomination evaluation looks at each company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics and is worth 25 percent of the total evaluation.
