AltiGen (News - Alert) Communications, Inc., a provider of premises and cloud-based IP-PBX and contact center solutions, recently announced that its MaxCS Private Cloud solution has been selected by Brightway Insurance. The solution from AltiGen will replace phone systems in more than 100 Brightway Insurance offices.
MaxCS Private Cloud is a turn-key managed business communications service that combines AltiGen’s MaxCS VoIP business phone system, contact center solution, and cost-effective SIP trunks, hosted in a secure private cloud. It’s an all-inclusive, subscription-based solution that doesn’t require any upfront investment in PBX (News - Alert) or call center hardware. The solution includes a complete set of enterprise PBX features designed to meet the communications requirements of any size business. It aims to enable a seamless migration from an existing AltiGen premises-based PBX to the cloud.
"We have been a long time user of AltiGen technology at our corporate office," said Brightway CEO David Miller. "Our service center uses AltiGen's call center technology and we have historically deployed an on premise AltiGen system with local phone lines to all of our branches. Using MaxCS Private Cloud, we will be able to significantly lower costs for ourselves and our franchisees while greatly simplifying management."
"AltiGen is very excited to see Brightway Insurance migrating to our new cloud based service," added AltiGen VP of Sales Mike Plumer. "While Brightway will be spending less per month, we will be able to provide more through the new service. Expanded functionality such as disaster recovery and mobile clients will ensure that the communications system helps play its role in the Brightway success story. We look forward to Brightway Insurance's expansion across the country."
