Vertafore Upgrades Portfolio of Solutions for Insurance Agencies

Vertafore has upgraded its portfolio of agency solutions for small, mid-size and enterprise insurance agencies. These changes have been made following feedback and inputs from Vertafore’s customer base of more than 20,000 insurance businesses.

The Sagitta 2014, Vertafore Agency Platform 2014 and AMS360 2014 solutions feature cloud, data, mobile and automation technologies to boost operational efficiencies of modern insurance agencies.

Vertafore provides software that transforms the business of insurance, and invests more than $50 million to develop products each year.

The company recognizes that insurance providers invest in technology to further their businesses and notes the total insurance IT spending across North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific is set to reach $162.1 billion this year.

Vertafore also cites a new report from Ernst & Young according to which 80 percent of insurance executives believe they are technology laggards in customer engagement, analytics and adoption of mobile.

Vertafore is providing an advanced, comprehensive portfolio of solutions for agencies by incorporating cloud, mobile and big data capabilities into its technologies. The company has been ranked second as the top 12 self-serve insurance vendors (VSS) worldwide for 2012, 2013 by Gartner (News - Alert) and its solutions are used by independent agencies, carriers, and brokers.

Earlier this month, former Intuit (News - Alert) executive, Gregory Wright joined Vertafore as senior vice president of agency management systems. Tracie Lofgren from Intuit also joined the company as vice president of organizational capability.
