Vlocity designs and creates industry-specific applications on the Salesforce1 platform to provide organizations with functional cloud in mobile software solutions that embed industry best practices and business processes. These applications take away all the hard work of integrating the latest technology and the processes an organization needs in one single app that can be deployed across different devices. With Vlocity, organizations are able to improve customer experience interactions across the board at better price points compared to traditional on-premises non-industry-specific legacy systems.
The company has announced two new industry cloud applications for the communication and insurance industry built on the Salesforce1 to deliver better omni-channel customer experience at lower cost of ownership.
Vlocity Industry Cloud Apps can be used by organizations of different sizes to connect with their customers, partners and employees by meeting the specific demands of the communications and insurance industries.
Vlocity Communications provides cloud-based Business Support System (BSS) functionality to bring together the subscriber experience for communications companies with accurately configured price quotes, asset-based order management, billing integration and subscriber services.
“Industry-specific cloud and mobile apps are the next generation of application software,” said Vlocity CEO and co-founder David Schmaier. “Organizations are asking for cloud software built for their industry that embeds industry best practices, a continuous flow of new features, and less on-going maintenance. We are excited to join the Salesforce Partner Program and deliver two industry cloud apps that are modern, easy to deploy, and include deep functionality for each industry.”
Vlocity Insurance gives insurance companies the right product advice and risk evaluation for consumer, commercial and group insurance within the individual life, employee benefits and select segments of property and casualty sectors to power a more productive workforce with policy quoting, pricing and renewal tools.
Key features of the insurance app include:
The ability to track the entire network of consumer clients/households and their policy portfolios to proactively manage new business acquisition and renewals.
View client’s policy portfolios using the activity management for major policy events and claims to deliver the right interaction at the right time.
A mobile client retention to create tag (News - Alert) and search call reports, call lists and client reviews to take action.
A rich dashboards to access insights to customer order status, billing and service history instantly.
Use the drag-and-drop interface with validation rules to simplify generation of accurate quotes and orders to capture the right order.
Use the mobile call reporting to execute sales campaigns and create, tag and search call reports while on the go.
By making these applications Mobile First, organizations can give employees a productivity tool that can be accessed anywhere, anytime and on any device.
“Our customers are asking for industry-specific cloud solutions, and we look forward to working with Vlocity to add new capabilities to our Customer Success Platform,” said Keith Block, vice chairman and president, Salesforce."
Vlocity Communications and Vlocity Insurance are currently available on the Salesforce AppExchange.
