Texas Mutual Insurance Company Implements Guidewire Systems

Guidewire Software has recently announced that Texas Mutual Insurance Company has selected Guidewire products to help fulfill specific business needs. Guidewire strives to bring technology to insurers differently than other vendors. Guidewire prides itself on understanding the P/C industry, the challenges involved and insurers’ expectations.
Texas Mutual has chosen to implement- Guidewire PolicyCenter, Guidewire BillingCenter and Guidewire Client Data Management. In early 2014, Texas mutual successfully utilized Guidewire ClaimCenter, and hopes to continue the positive relationship they currently have with Guidewire products.
Guidewire PolicyCenter is a underwriting and policy administration that strives to help Property and Casualty insurers increase business and efficiency. It is designed to support commercial and personal lines, to help integrate front and back office processes. For Texas mutual, it is basically the company’s new underwriting, rating, and policy administration system.
On the other hand, Guidewire BillingCenter will now manage all billing operations, including direct bill, agency bill and commissions calculation. Guidewire Billing center is designed on the principles of control and flexibility. Its comprehensive billing and receivables management will make it easier for Texas Mutual to automate the billing lifecycle. Along with these services, Guidewire Client Data Management will provide software that makes it easier to manage customer contact data-in one singular system.
Texas Mutual is looking forward to this integration of Guidewire software.

PolicyCenter and BillingCenter will open a new realm of work efficiency for Texas Mutual. The new software promises to use a modern platform that will consolidate account management and billing systems, easily and promptly update system changes and ensure that customer service levels improve.
