American Family Mutual Insurance Co. Lowers Auto Insurance Rates

Arizona auto insurance customers can now pay less as American Family Mutual Insurance Company is lowering Arizona auto insurance rates by an average of 5.9 percent starting today.
The lower rates will help the customers save $13.7 million, the Madison, Wis.-based insurer said.
American Family's standard auto insurance subsidiary, American Standard Insurance Company, is also lowering rates an average of 7.3 percent, thereby letting the Arizona customers save an additional $2.4 million. Also, American Family is the fifth-largest insurer of private passenger cars in Arizona.
Based upon geographic area, coverage purchased, the type of vehicle and other factors, the changes in auto insurance premium amounts will vary. On average, customers who purchase full coverage - including the comprehensive and collision coverage, will experience the greatest savings. On the other hand, the customers who purchase only the liability coverage may experience a premium increase.
Price remains to be just one component of the value customers seek from their auto insurance company. Customers also should take into notice that whether a company provides the personalized service of an agent, outstanding claim service, a broad array of quality products and the financial security to stand behind its products.
The American Family Insurance, is the nation’s third largest mutual property/casualty insurance company and ranks 388th on the Fortune 500 list. It offers auto insurance, homeowners insurance, life insurance, health insurance, business and farm/ranch insurance in 19 states.
In related news, Congressman Eliot Engel voted to ensure that American consumers get a real choice and a fair deal when purchasing health insurance.
