Insurance Technology - Exigen Insurance Ushers in New VP



Exigen Insurance Solutions, a provider of insurance core systems, announced that Gregory Smith (News - Alert) had been appointed VP, Client Relations.

Smith would currently be responsible for maintaining and creating global customer relationships, and would be required to focus on the best execution of goals and outcome based alignment.

Facilitating initial client engagement, understanding business objectives and establishing a blueprint for business transformation would also fall within the purview of Smith's ensuing responsibilities.

A former VP, California State Automobile Association, Smith had been responsible for all aspects of more than a $billion personal lines insurance portfolio, which included all actuarial, claims, underwriting, activities, in addition to overseeing product management, product delivery and customer service functions. All this was done with a workforce of 3,500 working out of 80 retail locations.

Leading major initiatives to streamline business operations and align technology for business growth, Smith had also been associated with the American Red Cross, Bay Area Chapter, serving as chair of the board and later as chief public support officer.

With over 30 years experience in P&C insurance business and technology management, Smith brings a comprehensive knowledge of insurer operations to the new management role of VP, Client Relations.
