MassMutual Retirement Services Division's Call Center, Receives Gold Award for "Best Job Creating a Culture That Inspires World-Class Excellence"

The International Quality and Productivity Center has awarded the MassMutual Retirement Services Division's Call Center with the first-place gold award for 'Best Job Creating a Culture That Inspires World-Class Excellence.'
 
MassMutual, for the third year in a row has been counted among the Best in Class winners. At the IQPC's (News - Alert) 11th Annual Call Center Excellence Awards held in June in Las Vegas, Gordon Pullan, assistant vice president and head of MassMutual's Retirement Services Call Center, accepted the award on behalf of MassMutual.

 
To recognize and promote the most innovative solutions and best practices in the call center industry, the Call Center Excellence Awards were established by the International Quality and Productivity Center. MassMutual is the first recipient of the award for 'Best Job Creating a Culture That Inspires World-Class Excellence,' a new category this year.
 
'This award exemplifies MassMutual's goal of simplifying retirement, one participant at a time,' Elaine Sarsynski, executive vice president of MassMutual's Retirement Services Division and chairman and CEO of MassMutual International LLC, states. 'By recognizing professional achievement, great teamwork and a focus on the needs of our participants, our call center has created a culture of service excellence. We couldn't be more proud.'
 
'We had a record-breaking year for award submissions, making it clear that call center operations and innovation are highly valued,' Lisa Schulman, executive producer and sector leader of IQPC, says. 'MassMutual's demonstrated commitment to creating a culture that truly lives and breathes service sets a great example for the industry,' she adds.
 
Retirement Services Call Center of MassMutual is staffed with professionals who are trained to assist individuals in managing their MassMutual retirement account, from questions about investment options under the plan to taking full advantage of matching contributions.
 
In related news, Roger W. Crandall has been elected as the Chairman of the Board of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company by the company's Board of Directors, effective December 28, 2010.
